Affixes wrap around English roots

Indonesian builds words with prefixes and suffixes, and it applies them to English roots freely. The result is written as spoken, not reduced to the English base word.

Casual speech is not corrected

Everyday Indonesian differs sharply from the formal written standard. It is transcribed as said.

Timing measured, not estimated

Every word's start and end come from the audio itself.

Indoglish — two languages in one sentence

Indonesian creators mix English through almost every sentence, and Indonesian does something specific with the borrowed word: it wraps it in affixes on both sides, so the English root ends up buried inside an Indonesian word. Recognising the root and writing the plain English word deletes the grammar around it.
