Privacy Policy

• ·Account details. Your name and email address, from Google or Telegram when you sign in. We never receive your password.
• ·Your content. The video and audio files you upload, and the captions produced from them.
• ·Usage. How many minutes you have processed, which plan you are on, and your caption style settings.
• ·Payment details. Handled entirely by Stripe. We store only the subscription status and an identifier — never your card number.

Under laws like the GDPR, we must have a “lawful basis” for processing your data:

• ·Contract. To provide the service you signed up for, including producing captions, running your account, and handling billing.
• ·Legitimate Interest. To analyze usage so we can improve the product, and to send you necessary account notifications (e.g. failed payments).
• ·Consent. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your videos to train models. If we ever wish to do so, we will ask for your explicit consent first.

• ·Source media is deleted from our storage once your captions are produced. Failed jobs keep theirs for 24 hours so we can diagnose the failure, then it goes too.
• ·Your captions and exports stay in your account until you delete them.
• ·Deleting your account removes your content. Billing records are kept where the law requires it, without any of your content.

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each receives only what it needs:

• ·Google. Sign-in, and the AI models that produce the captions.
• ·Supabase. Your account and your project data.
• ·Cloudflare R2. File storage.
• ·Railway and Vercel. Running the service itself.
• ·Stripe. Payments.
• ·Brevo. Transactional email.

International Transfers: We process data in the United States. When we transfer data originating in the EEA or UK to the US, we rely on safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

• ·We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.
• ·We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the product is used in aggregate. We do not sell that data or use it to build advertising profiles of you.

• ·You can see, correct or delete your data at any time from your account.
• ·You can delete your account, which removes your content from our systems.
• ·You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you: write to ciao@harmar.ai.

California residents: Under the CCPA, we confirm that we have not “sold” or “shared” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information in the preceding 12 months.

Harmar is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will remove it.
