Output is always the Greek alphabet
Greeklish — Greek typed in Latin letters — is how many people write online. Subtitles come back in Greek script regardless, because that is what belongs on screen.
The fonts actually contain Greek
Greek is its own script and many subtitle fonts omit it. Only fonts that genuinely render it are offered — the count is on this page.
English words stay English
Borrowed vocabulary is transcribed as itself rather than transliterated into Greek letters.
Mixed with another language
Greek raises a script question before it raises a language one. Greeklish — writing Greek with Latin letters — is normal in chat and comments, but it is not what anyone wants burned into a video, so the transcript is always in Greek script. The English words inside a Greek sentence are the opposite case: they stay in Latin, because that is how they are written.
Wrong word? Fix it in seconds
Every word is editable with the video playing beside it, and you can drag any word’s timing by hand.
Nothing is automatic-or-nothing. You always see the result before you export.
A real project — the editor works the same in every language.Questions
Do I get Greeklish or Greek letters?+
Greek letters. Greeklish is a typing convention for keyboards and chat; subtitles on screen belong in the Greek alphabet.
Will Greek letters survive into the exported video?+
Yes, provided the font contains them — and the picker only offers fonts that do, so one that would export as empty boxes cannot be chosen.
Does it handle Greek mixed with English?+
Yes. English words are transcribed as English rather than transliterated.
